Alfalfa leaf is sometimes used to support healthy lactation in women, due to its high nutritional profile. It is also a valuable plant to use for helping to optimize female hormonal balance. Additionally the rich mineral content could promote the healthy growth of hair, skin and nail tissue, while also providing a source of antioxidants. Alfalfa is anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and diuretic.  It has the ability to assist with cholesterol, candida, menopause, arthritis, menopause, menstrual function, skin, Women's Reproductive Function.
Arnica:    The flowers of this plant have been prepared in several ways in order to promote the restoration of overworked muscles and to support the relaxation of muscles. Very healing on bruises and muscle pain.
Ashwagandha is an adaptogen which are substances (a combination of amino acids, vitamins, and herbs) that modulate your response to stress or a changing environment. Adaptogens help the body cope with external stresses such as toxins in the environment and internal stresses such as anxiety and insomnia. It can help protect the immune system, combat the effects of stress, improve learning, memory, and reaction time, reduces anxiety and depression without causing drowsiness, helps reduce brain-cell degeneration and much more.

Basil:  One of the primary medicinal uses for basil is for its anti-inflammatory properties. This effect stems from eugenol, a volatile oil in basil that blocks enzymes in the body that cause swelling, making basil an ideal treatment for people with arthritis. Basil, especially as an extract or oil, is known to have exceptionally powerful antioxidant properties that can protect the body from premature aging, common skin issues, age-related problems. Basil oil can be used to treat constipation, stomach cramps and indigestion as well as the cold, flu, asthma, whooping cough, bronchitis and sinus infections. It is also a great source of magnesium, an essential mineral that helps the body’s blood vessels relax, which can improve blood flow. Both fresh basil and basil oil have strong antibacterial capabilities and has been shown to stop the growth of many bacteria, even some that had grown resistant to other antibiotics. Basil can be applied to wounds to help prevent bacterial infections.  Basil is antifungal.  

Burdock is a versatile plant which among other things influences the blood and lymph. It has bitter principles, which encourage healthy digestion and appetite. Burdock also supports healthy and vital skin by promoting normal liver function and by supporting the detoxification process in the body.  It is helpful for: Bowel Regulatory, Connective Tissue Function, Digestive Function, Immune System, Liver Function, Lymphatic Function,Skin, Blood Purifier and detoxification.

Catnip as an oil, has been found in one study to be about ten times more effective at repelling mosquitoes than DEET, which is the active ingredient in most insect repellents. It supports immune function and helpful for relaxing muscle spasm and cramps associated with digestion, as well as for anxiety, colds, cramps, insects and a calming aid to help insomnia

Cayenne is extremely useful for athritic and muscle pains, including fibromyalgia, back pain, rheumatoid arthritis.  Not to be used during pregnancy or lactation.
Comfrey helps to support the healing of skin and other tissues, and has been very well researched for it's ability to bring moisture to the skin and assist in the development of healthy skin cells as well as combtat inflammation. Another name for comfrey is knitbone and is often used in the recovery from stress to bones, tendons and joints.
Calendula is a particularly good treatment for cuts, scrapes, bruises, insect bites and minor wounds. Calendula is antifungal and so can help to cure thrush (Candida albicans). The anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties of calendula make it a good face wash for dry, irritated skin and acne. Fresh calendula petals can also be infused in boiling water and used to treat minor infections, conjunctivitis, and mouth sores. Calendula tinctures are also a concentrated and convenient way to treat sore or infected gums.
Cinnamon has antioxidant properties and helps support fat and cholesterol levels in a normal range. The phenolic compounds, especially the polyphenolic polymers, found in cinnamon, have been studied for their effects to support insulin and blood sugar levels within a normal range and promote healthy blood flow.  Maintaining healthy blood sugar levels is vital to promoting healthy vision, heart, circulation, kidneys and a healthy nervous system It is useful for nausea, digestion, diabetes (get professional advice).  It is antibacterial, antifungal and astringent. It is a warming herb.   
Dandelion is a rich source of vitamins A, B complex, and C, as well as minerals such as iron, potassium, and zinc. Dandelion is used to support the liver and gall bladder, to promote digestion and to support the detoxification process. The leaves have more of a noticeable effect for supporting healthy fluid elimination. Helpful for:  Digestive tonic, liver problems, acne. 

Echinacea effectively helps to improve the immune system’s function by promoting white blood cell production. These white blood cells in turn attack the bacteria and viruses that enter our bodies in order to prevent illness or infection.  It is also known to effectively reduce the duration of an illness, especially when used in combination with other herbal remedies such as garlic and vitamin C.  It is an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral herb and supports the immune system, lymphatic function and respiratory function.

Elderberry is used for its antioxidant activity, to lower cholesterol, improve vision, boost the immune system, improve heart health and for coughs, colds, flu, bacterial and viral infections and tonsillitis.  Elderberry has long been proposed as being immune supportive, and supports the body's natural defense.

Feverfew has been used by traditional herbalists for many common health complaints from headaches to minor aches and pains. Its common name is a derivation of the term, "febrifuge" a substance that modulates fever. It is anit-inflammatory, helps circulation, allergies, headaches and migraines, lupus, parasites and acts as an insect repellent.

Fennel seed tea acts as an excellent digestive aid to relieve abdominal cramps, gas and bloating. It is also used to alleviate bad breath, congestion and cough.  Fennel is an excellent example of an aromatic herb that works to re-establish normal digestive activity. Because fennel is most commonly used as a digestive aid, it is particularly helpful for occasional gas, bloating, and indigestion. Studies have shown that fennel has a calming action on smooth muscles, which may be in part how it restores health to the digestive tract. Fennel is also reported to exhibit a positive effect upon lactation.
Ginger Root has been used as "diffusive" circulatory tonic and warming agent, to calm occasional nausea, and to aid in a healthy immune respiratory response as well as to support a normal inflammatory responses and promote healthy circulation. Gotu Kola is a rejuvenative nervine and often recommended for balancing the nervous system and supports the body's inherent ability to cope with temporary stress  while also promoting normal levels of mental alertness and a sound memory. It supports the health of skin, hair, and nails and is very helpful in normalizing integrity of skin tissue and connective tissue maintenance and healthy formation of connective tissue structural components. Because Gotu kola supports healthy connective tissue, it also supports blood vessel strength and integrity as well as normal circulation of blood.
Horsetail This plant isused to support the urinary tract, kidneys and connective tissues. It contains a soluble source of silica, a mineral known to be essential in the development of healthy hair, skin and nails. It is helpful for connective tissue function and skin
Jewelweed is an effective natural herbal remedy and offers immediate relief for winter dry skin, poison ivy, poison oak, hives, stinging nettle, and other irritating plants; as well as bug bites and razor burn. Jewelweed is also used in herbal medicine for acne, heat rash, sunburn, ringworm and many other skin disorders.   Jewelweed contains a compound called lawsone in its leaves proven to have anti-histamine and anti-inflammatory properties 
Ladies Mantle is used as a woman's healing herb to help to alleviate cramps and painful menstruation.  Lady's Mantle has a 'drying and binding character', and cuts, scrapes, and burns can be treated with skin washes of lady's mantle to prevent infection
Lavender can lift your spirits, help you sleep, relieve pain, kill germs, heal burns and rashes, and help keep annoying insects at bay.  It is helpful for anxiety, colds, depression, herpes, cold sores, sypertension, insect/flea bites, nausea, pregnancy/childbirth, sore throats, sunburns.  It is  antifungal, antioxidant, antiperspirant, antiviral, diuretic, muscle relaxant, sedative and more. 
Lemon balm can be very helpful for those times when nerves, headaches and/or mild depression are preventing you from relaxing and getting a good nights sleep.  It supports the immune system and promotes health of the cell wall.  Lemon Balm is helpful for Brain Function, Digestive Function, Immune System, Nervous System, Sleep, Stress.

Lemongrass acts as an antioxidant that can help protect your cells from damage by free radicals. Lemongrass has anti-microbial properties, helping prevent or slow the growth of bacteria and fungi, may also have a sedative effect, increasing the time you stay asleep. Lemongrass helps  anti-inflammatory such as arthritis. Lemongrass oil contains citronella, a good mosquito and insect repellent.  It is antibacterial, astringent, digestive, skin tonic and a warming herb.

Licorice root is said to be 50 times sweeter than sucrose (table sugar) without the addictive properties.  It is a tonic herb and used to support a healthy digestion, lung and respiratory function and promote a healthy adrenal response to stress.  It can be used for catarrh of the upper respiratory tract as well as gastric and duodenal ulcers.  It is helpful for the Digestive Function, Endocrine Function,  Adrenal and Immune System, Intestinal Health, Liver Function, Respiratory Function.
Because of the naturally high content of mucilage, Marshmallow root provides soothing support for irritated mucous membranes.  It is helpful for Digestive Function, Intestinal Health, Respiratory Function, Urinary Tract.  It is anti-inflammatory and antibacterial.

Motherwort is a nervine particularly effective in supporting healthy reproductive function in women, especially those influenced by anxiety, tension and stress.* The plant also supports healthy cardiovascular function.  Not for use during pregnancy.

Mullein dried leaves were traditionally used as a tea supporting pulmonary and respiratory function.  It is anti-inflammitory, antibacterial and antiviral and helpful for respiratory complaints, congestion, cough, earaches, sore throat and to help stop smoking.  Combined with garlic, mulein flower makes a wonderful natural ear drop for ear aches.

Oat straw is a diuretic which increases the urine flow, It is also used to treat obesity, lymphatic swelling, retention, nerve inflammation, urinary tract infections, kidney stones and skin eruptions.  The oat plant, including oat straw, is considered safe, but you should first speak to your physician before using oat straw as a diuretic to prevent any other medical complications.  Oat straw can also help with depression and nourish and stregnthen the nervous system.  It is also helpf ul for anxiety, cholesterol, exzema, fatique, psoriasis, stress and sunburns.  

Passionflower is a general nerve tonic to treat nervous stress. It is also used for anxiety and to gently relax the mind/body to prepare for a more restful nights sleep.  
Peppermint is a great choice for treatment of colds and flu because it acts to relieve mulitple sympltoms at once: congestion, headache and muscle aches, nausea and fever.  It is helpful for brochitis, colds/congestion, fatigue, gastritis/ulcer, headache/migraine, IBS, Insect Repellent, Lice, Nausea, Nerve/Back Pain,  Pain Relief,  Sinus.  
Plantain is for irritation and inflammation of the respiratory tract and known as an "herbal drawing agent" for its ability to pull splinters, dirt, pus and infection out of wounds. Because the leaves are readily found in nature, they are often picked, crumbled and used topically on stings and bites as well. Plaintain is a styptic, astringent and diuretic.
Raspberry leaf tea is delicious resembling a rich, earthy black tea without the caffeine. It is estimated that one out of every five women who are pregnant drink Raspberry leaf tea. The leaves contain up to 10% iron in addition to many other minerals and vitamins. It is one of the highest known plant sources of manganese containing 14.6 mg per 100gm.  It is a uterine tonic, as well as being helpful for Lactation and Women's Reproductive Function.
Red Clover is primarily nutritive, but also used to support proper lymphatic function (alterative), immune support, healthy skin, and proper endocrine function.  Often useful as a tonic for menstrual irregularity and menopause.  Helpful for Bowel Regulatory, Immune System, Lymphatic Function, Menopause, Reproductive System, Skin.  

Sage has excellent antibacterial and astringent properties, which explains its popular use in gargles for sore throats gingivitis and sore gums. It is also used as an insect repellent, to get rid of lice, to sharpen memory and to aid digestion.  It is antibacterial, antifungal, antiperspirant

Spearmint has been used to help to support the body in expelling excess gas from the intestines and it also supports relaxation in the body.  It is helpful for Digestive Function and stress.  
St John's Wort is used topically to support nerves damaged by trauma, and promote recovery from trauma to the skin like burns, wounds and bruises and for anxiety.  It was also used internally in homeopathic preparations for nerve trauma. It is helpful for Mood, Nervous System, Stress, fibromyalgia,  Depression, immune disease
Slippery elm is mucilaginous and is used soothe irritated tissue. It has been used to help digestive disturbances where it acts as a gentle supportive agent to the intestines and promotes healthy mucosal tissue. It is useful for Bladder Function, Immune System, Intestinal Health, Respiratory Function.
Stinging Nettle is a wonderful tonic herb.  Excellent for use with inflammatory situations such as arthritis both osteoporosis and rheumatoid.  It is a diuretic and a tonic.  It is helpful for Energy, Immune System, Joint & Muscle Health, Lymphatic Function, Prostate, fibromyalgia, PSM, and as a spring tonic.
Turmeric is often called a super herb as it is proving beneficial in the treatment of many different health conditions from cancer to Alzheimer's disease and is helpful for: arthritis, candida, eyes, pain relief, psoriasis, and much more.  It is anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal.  It is helpful for Cardiovascular Function, Digestive Function, Heart Health, Immune System, Joint & Muscle Health, Liver Function.
Usnea is a lichen which is an organism that has characteristics of a Fungus and and Algae.  It is used to promotes excretion within the kidneys and the urinary tract, to support a healthy immune response in the respiratory tract and mucous membranes, to supports healthy functions of the urinary system, and to maintain a healthy microbial balance within the Urinary System.  It is helpful for Bladder Function, Immune System, Kidney Function.  Not for use during pregnancy. 
Valerian is a herbal sedative. It is used by herbalists for insomnia, nervous anxiety and to help the body relax in the presence of pain, can calm coughs when used in combination with mullein, and lemon balm

Yarrow is very rich in antioxidants. It is anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, soothing,  astringent, and much more.  It can be helpful for various symptoms of colds and the flu, including sore throat, whooping cough, chest pains, fever, as well as the symptoms of asthma. Anti-inflammatory properties of this herb can be used to relieve arthritis pains and sore muscle, reducing pains in joints and low back, menstral pains and cramps and can help contractions of nerves and muscles, chronic headaches and migraines. Yarrow tea is a great solution for everyone who has chronic digestion problems like heartburn, bloating, indigestion and others, can be used to treat urinary infections, hemorrhoids, diarrhea, problems with gall bladder function and so on.
